Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to everyone who publishes games on thrungames, in addition to the Terms of service and the Community guidelines.
Becoming a developer
Anyone with an account can become a developer from their Settings. See Become a developer for how publishing works.
Your games and our licence
You keep ownership of your games. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, distribute, display and run your builds, cover images and descriptions, and to make thumbnails and share images from them. We use this licence only to operate and promote thrungames.
The licence for a game or version ends when you delete it, except for copies in caches and backups, which can remain for up to 30 days.
Review
Staff review every game, and every new version, before it is public. Until a build is approved it stays private, and preview links to it expire after one hour.
We may reject a game or version. For spam or very low-effort submissions we may do so without a detailed reason; otherwise we explain what to change.
Your responsibilities
- You have the rights to all code, art, sound, music and fonts in your game.
- Your title, description and cover image are honest about the game.
- Your game follows the Community guidelines.
- Your game does not collect players' personal data, show ads, or load third-party trackers or analytics.
- Your game does not read or change other games' saved data on thrun.games.
Upload tokens, the CLI and MCP
Keep your upload tokens and connected apps secret, and revoke any you no longer use. You are responsible for everything done with them. Don't use them to overload thrungames. See the CLI and MCP server guides.
Data we give you
We give you totals about how your games are played, and reports our staff choose to share with you. If a report includes the reporter's contact details, use them only to answer that report.
Money
thrungames is free. There are no fees, no revenue share and no payments through thrungames.
Removal
We may hide or remove games that break these terms. We tell you why, and you can ask us to reconsider by emailing support@infobits.io.
