The short version
Be kind, and only share games and content you have the right to share. These guidelines are part of our Terms of service and apply to games, comments, profiles, names and images.
Not allowed anywhere
- Anything illegal.
- Sexual content involving minors. We remove it, ban the account and report it to the police.
- Explicit sexual content.
- Gratuitous gore.
- Hate speech, harassment, bullying or threats.
- Sharing someone else's personal data, such as their address or phone number.
- Pretending to be someone else, including staff.
- Spam, scams and phishing.
- Manipulating likes, plays or reports, for example with extra accounts.
- Content you don't have the rights to. See Copyright.
Games
- No malware, crypto mining, phishing or hidden behaviour.
- Titles, descriptions and cover images must be honest about the game.
- Games must also follow the Developer terms.
Comments
Keep comments on topic and constructive. Criticism of a game is fine; attacks on people are not. No ads or link spam.
What happens when the rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, and whether it has happened before, we may:
- remove the content;
- stop the account from commenting or voting;
- hide a game;
- suspend or ban the account;
- delete the account.
Serious cases, such as sexual content involving minors or malware, go straight to a ban. We tell you what we did and why.
Reporting
If you see something that breaks these guidelines or the law, use the Report page. Tell us which game, comment or profile it is, and what is wrong. Staff review every report.
If you disagree with a decision
Email support@infobits.io and tell us what you think we got wrong. Where we can, a different member of staff looks at it again.
